SUMMARY:Community Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Regular Monthly Meeting of the Trout Lake Community Council. \nThe next Trout Lake Community Council meeting will be on Tuesday\, September 1st\, beginning at 6:30 at the Grange. We have an earlier start as we will have three topics with guest speakers and a full agenda. \nFirst up will be Sergio Garcia from the Columbia Cascade Housing Corporation (CCHC) to share information on affordable housing projects within the five-county region (Klickitat\, Skamania\, Hood River\, Wasco\, and Sherman counties). \nNext up will be Dan Gunkel\, Klickitat PUD (KPUD) Commissioner and Gwyn Miller\, KPUD General Manager. They will be here to give us an update on what’s happening at KPUD and will provide information on how KPUD can aid communities in the development of community septic systems and the steps necessary for beginning the feasibility study process if there is community interest and need. \nAfter that\, we’ll have District 1 Commissioner Todd Andrews share updates on a couple of topics and be open to Q&A. at our meeting.
