
Learn About Local Wildlife – Guided Hike

Join local wildlife expert Adam Lieberg and staff from the Department of Natural Resource’s Natural Areas Program for a fun filled day learning about local wildlife at the Trout Lake Natural Area Preserve! Folks will want to bring food, water, appropriate footwear, and clothing. Trip leaders also recommend bringing a small tape measure, field notebook, and binoculars. Terrain will be easy to moderate and a roundtrip distance of approximately 5 miles. Plan to meet at the North Road parking area of the Trout Lake Natural Area Preserve.
Please note that a valid Discover Pass is required for each vehicle parked at the NAP parking area. Discover Passes can be purchased at the Trout Lake Grocery.
