Community Council Meeting

Regular Monthly Meeting of the Trout Lake Community Council.

The next Trout Lake Community Council meeting will be on Tuesday, September 1st, beginning at 6:30 at the Grange. We have an earlier start as we will have three topics with guest speakers and a full agenda.

First up will be Sergio Garcia from the Columbia Cascade Housing Corporation (CCHC) to share information on affordable housing projects within the five-county region (Klickitat, Skamania, Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman counties).

Next up will be Dan Gunkel, Klickitat PUD (KPUD) Commissioner and Gwyn Miller, KPUD General Manager. They will be here to give us an update on what’s happening at KPUD and will provide information on how KPUD can aid communities in the development of community septic systems and the steps necessary for beginning the feasibility study process if there is community interest and need.

After that, we’ll have District 1 Commissioner Todd Andrews share updates on a couple of topics and be open to Q&A. at our meeting. We hope you will join us for an informative and interesting council meeting.

Dates to note: September 15 – Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) public hearing on changes to the Recreational Park ordinance; September 22 – BoCC public hearing on changes to the ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) Ordinance.
