About the Community Foundation

The Trout Lake Community Foundation is an all-volunteer nonprofit corporation located in Trout Lake, Washington.

Our mission is to provide scholarships for post-secondary education and career training for local students and citizens.

The Foundation recognizes that further education is a necessity in today’s world, and that without financial assistance many students face difficulties in realizing their dreams.

Recipients of the financial aid may be graduating seniors from Trout Lake High School; college-level students who graduated from Trout Lake High School, and who need aid to complete their post-secondary education; and community members whose situation warrants a career change.

We raise funds via several annual events, and manage scholarship funds donated by generous local individuals and businesses.

We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Design Thoughts

[ THOUGHTS I HAD WHILE PUTTING THIS DRAFT TOGETHER… ]

The URL can be whatever you want. Obvious options are: CommunityFoundation.TroutLake.org or tlcf.troutlake.org.

Should TLCF Board Meetings be on the Public Calendar on TroutLake.org?

Should the Grange Scholarship also be on the Grange web page (or ONLY on the Grange web page with a link from this page to that and visa versa)?

If you have PDF’s of past Newsletters, I can provide links to download them. They would not be displayed on screen like the Current Newsletter. Simply links that would open in a separate window.

Update Connections Directory if this becomes active. Include new URL and Facebook link.

If this becomes active the old website can be programmed to redirect traffic here.
